Lilly-Lee classes gives students the freedom to discover their own unique artistry. This is achieved by working at your own pace on your own choice of project, subject matter, and medium. Our classes are designed to be creative with a technical focus, covering aspects such as colour mixing, blending, composition, shading, shape, and proportions while working on your individually preferred projects. The classes are tailored to either the student’s area of interest or providing you with support to discover or explore different areas of interest with supportive direction and guidance.
Students supply their own materials to allow for individual choices, quality, or price point of products. Materials can include any 2D material for eg - Watercolour paint, Acrylic Paint, Oil Paint, Watercolour Pencils, Alcohol Markers, Ink, Posca Pens, Pastels, Charcoal, Graphite, Gel Pad Printing, or Collage.

Classes are $420/term, or pro-rate + $45 for a late term start (late starts are possible if availability permits - spaces will not be held).

Do you offer casual or 1 off classes?
Unfortunately, we do not offer casual classes or trial classes.
Can I start during the term?
Absolutely, spaces can be held with a full term payment. Or a late commencement date is possible if a place remains available, this will be charged pro-rata (plus an additional $45 admin fee).
What is a project?
A project is the work of art that you would like to working on. This can be any medium or subject matter of choice.
How do I get there?
Lilly-Lee Classes are held at the BVAC - Brisbane Visual Arts Community Studio. Please use 138 Weller Road, Tarragindi. We are situated beside Weller Hill State School.
What do I Bring for Adult Classes?
This will depend on what medium and subject matter you would like to work on. Definitely bring : Inspiration, reference image, or still life objects, old towel for artwork travel.
If you have it : Materials = Paint, gesso, brushes, palette knives, colour wheel, pencils, kneadable eraser, palette.
Can I buy supplies from Lilly-Lee?
Yes, we have available all the basics materials that you would need at affordable prices. You can buy individual items or a starter pack on arrival or purchase online.
