DRAWING DRAGONS
with Kathy Sullivan

Wednesday 30th June 2010 - 1:00 to 4:00 pm

Brainstorm with the teacher what a dragons head, wings, talons etc. might look like
 and then learn how to draw them.
Finally construct a body and put details on (scales, horns, plates, hair etc).

Students can work in colour or black and white, pencil, pastel or paint.

Paints and canvas supplied. Suitable for children aged 7 years up.

UNCANNY FLOWERS

Henna Tattoos

Henna has been used to create beautiful body art since ancient times. By staining the skin, henna can be used to create temporary tattoos that can last for weeks. This workshop covers how to mix henna, making the tools for the application of henna and design elements of traditional henna art.

All henna art materials and handouts are supplied, however participants may want to bring paper and pencil for taking notes.

Suitable for children 10 years and up.

Have fun in this 2 day workshop creating a unique painting of your name. From samples provided, choose a theme and spell out your name on either one long canvas or an individual canvas.

Family Tree Mixed Media

You will have fun in this two day workshop creating a highly textured and colourful story of your family
 utilising a variety of different materials. 
You will experiment with tissue paper, stamping, texture paste - in fact any material you can find.

Bring along your imagination for a fun day of creating!
