We have made a new addition to our Artist’s Community! You can now add your artist’s profile. It is great for any artist who sells their work through our website as it will enable a prospective buyer to read a little bit about you. You just need to write about your inspirations and where you began your artist’s journey, things that will be of interest to someone who admires your work. Simply log into the Artist Community and go to your profile and click on edit profile and add your blub then save. It couldn’t be easier. The only hard part may be writing about yourself!
Classes start back next week with the countdown to our “People and Places” exhibition opening night Friday, 19th August, so it’s 6 weeks till opening night. I hope you have been painting over the break or at least been sourcing inspiration! First class back for Term 3 is Monday night, 11th July 7:30pm.
Welcome to our new artists community. We hope that all our artists will become a member and have fun with other like minded artists. It’s easy to do. Click on “create an account” and add your details. Your user name (eg paulette) can simply be your name or a nickname it just needs to be written in lower case. Your name needs to include your last name so that we can link your paintings for sale to your profile. You will be sent an email to verify your account. This will happen immediately. When you recieve the email, click on the link and it will bring you back to the website and tell you that your account has been verified. You can then change your Avatar, which is the funny little picture that appears next to your name. Click on “Profile” and then “Change Avatar” and “Browse” your images and “upload”. If you are on an iPad you will not be able to do this, you will need to go onto a PC. We will keep you posted.
